Close to my Heart My Acrylix Stamp Sets can be confusing for some so I wanted to share the step by step tutorial from the inside of each stamp set. Earlier stamp sets may not have had this insert.
I am sorry there are no pictures… I am in Arizona until February 3rd and will find the pictures when I return and I will add them then ~ Carol
Using the side of your forefinger, loosen the image on all sides then peel the stamp from its carrier sheet. (If image bases are connected, carefully lift one side and separate with scissors.)
Center the image on an appropriate sized My Acrylix block. There is a guide line across the bottom of the block to use for accurate spacing and alignment,
Ink the stamp with your preferred Exclusive Ink pad, checking the top of the block to verify even coverage on the stamp. You would be looking through the block to check the ink coverage. If this is the first time you have used your stamps you will want to stamp off a few images on scrap paper to make sure the stamp is accepting all the ink.
Place the image in your preferred area then apply even downward pressure. (Watch the transfer of ink to paper to determine necessary changes in pressure when stamping.)
Here’s an additional tip: On occasion you will find that stamping on a padded surface will ensure your images are crisp and the ink is evenly distributed. When stamping large or multiple images, or designs with large blocks of color, use the 6″ x 6″ foam pad included to cushion your card or layout.
